YG stopped by Complex to detail his new short film Blame It On The Streets, which he stars io starring in the flick, n and wrote while on his My Krazy Life Tour earlier this year. And of course, he compiled the accompanying soundtrack that features some new music, including a remix to “Bicken Back Being Bool” and a cover of “Me & My Bitch” by The Neighborhood. That makes two albums for YG in one year.
The film is based on two tracks off his debut project My Krazy Life—”BPT” and “Meet the Flockers.” “I’m just giving you the life behind that shit, how shit happens,” he says. He was inspired by films including “State Property,” so we asked YG to list some of his favorite “hood classics.”
He also spoke about his upcoming Best Coast Connection tour with A$AP Ferg, which kicks off today in Toronto. YG’s Blame It On The Streets movie and soundtrack are set to drop on Dec. 15.
